I was born in Guatemala, have Chinese origins and Spanish double nationality. During my years of studies of the degree I made several freelance works, including some architectural designs of houses, shops and a housing rehabilitation to commercial premises for a clothing store that involved an interior design, plus I’ve made several proposals designs that haven’t been ejecuted as the deck of the stadium “La Democracia in Huehuetenango. After graduating in 2004 with a Bachellor in Architecture at the University Rafael Landivar of Guatemala, I got half scholarship to pursue my studies in Spain, doing a Master of Management in Construction, Rehabilitation and Technical Control in the Center of Architecture in Madrid. In the programme we had the option of a supervised practice, finally I got in Dragados, on the project of the Hospital Puerta de Hierro in Majadahonda, as Assistant Production Manager, taking measurements, production monitoring, control costs and suppliers, control of the ejecution and quality work. After that I was hired by Sacyr in 2007 for the post of Technical Office, where I led research projects, analyzing the projects, suggesting improvements, providing as much as possible weaknesses in its construction and in compliance with current regulations. Then I have moved to Murcia as Production Manager for the construction of Murcia’s Airport, where I have taken so far by other colleagues the building area, especially the Passenger’s Terminal and Control Tower. Given the times we live, the technology, my charisma and vigor i’m seeking to break the barrier between borders, that’s why papelmantequilla born, looking for new challenges and be able to bring my design to another level. Besides participating in several architectural competitions, wishing my moment of glory, I’m still on it = o).
